A new competence system for TfL, designed and launched in five months
Won a competitive tender against established players. Designed, tested, transferred historic data and launched the system inside five months, with no system downtime since.

The Brief
Replace the existing system. Don't break anything.
TfL had a three-year competence assessment and evidence capture system already running, supplied by an established player. As it came up for renewal, TfL went out to tender for a new platform, with tight specifications on data security and a hard requirement that no end user would lose access.
Competition came from a host of well-known names. We won on a winning combination of a robust system, a passionate team and a competitive price. Then we had five months to deliver.
Our Approach
Tender to live, in five months.

The Outcome
A platform that stays out of its users' way
A competence system earns its place by being there when staff need it and staying invisible the rest of the time. TfL's PMs assess themselves, capture evidence and plan their development on a platform that supports them rather than getting in their way.
Five months from tender to live system is uncommon for procurements of this kind. Three years of zero downtime since launch is uncommon too. Both came from a small, focused team that knows the platform end to end.
